Join Us for our Nonpartisan Judicial Forum
Nonpartisan Judicial Candidates Forum - Thursday, April 12, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Family Life Center - Hold candidates for judge accountable on social justice. The criminal justice system is not always fair or just. We must vote in judges who will make sure jury selection, bail assessment and sentencing are fair for all demographic groups. All adults are being asked to attend SEUCC’s Nonpartisan Judicial Candidates Forum on April 12 to show the candidates running for judge we care where they stand on issues of social justice and we vote! Your vote matters, and races for judge can be won or lost by a few votes. You have until April 9 to register to vote or update your address before the May 8 primary election. Go to vote.gov or register at the table in the atrium next week. Elections matter. You matter. VOTE. If you have any questions, please see Liz Gaunter, Pam Thomas or Rev. Carla Jo Howlett.
