Small Groups - Register Today - Our next six-week session of small groups begin the week of January 14. Small Groups are being offered on both Wednesdays and Fridays. Consider beginning the new year by making a renewed commitment to your Christian discipleship through study and living a life beyond the boat. Small groups being offered this session are (1) The Battle Plan For Prayer: From Basic Training To Targeted Strategies (2) The Discipline Of Lament and (3) 5 Lies That Ruin Relationships. 2-3 Month Temporary Ministry Assistant Position -SEUCC is seeking a temporary Ministry Assistant for a 2-3 months assignment. On-the-job-training is provided. The Ministry Assistant is an integral role in the life of our church. The incumbent interacts with new members, lay leaders, staff, and congregants face-to-face and via technology. If you are spiritually mature, detailed-oriented, meticulous, possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and are highly proficient in Microsoft Word, this temporary position could be an exciting role for you. Go Ministry (Justice) - Interested Members - Do you have a passion for social justice and knowledge or experience that could help in a Justice Ministry? SEUCC through our Go Ministry is poised to move toward deeper engagement and more powerful action on social justice in our local community and beyond. BIN - Thursday, January 11 & Saturday, January 13 - 10 a.m. - We are in need of persons to help unload the food truck for the BIN Ministry on Thursday, January 11between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Should you be available, please sign up at the Information Center. If you know of any families in need, please encourage them to come to The BIN on Saturday, January 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first 50 families will be served. New Members Orientation Express Class - Sunday, January 21 - 1 p.m. -Haven’t made a full commitment to membership here at South Euclid United Church of Christ? Are Saturday mornings booked because of work or children? The New Member Assimilation team is working to accommodate you! We are planning an “Express” New Members Orientation especially for you, following the 11a.m. BLENDED Worship Service on January 21! Please plan to participate in a one-hour session taught by Pastor Courtney Clayton Jenkins in the Family Life Center. New Members Orientation is required to become an official member of SEUCC. Please sign up at the Information Center today and indicate if you will be needing Wiggling Worshippers. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, January 14. PULSE Experience Express Class - Sunday, January 21 - 1 p.m. - The PULSE (Place U Love Serving Effectively) Experience helps members (especially new members) discern how they can become connected and begin serving at SEUCC. Financial Peace - January 17 - 6:00 p.m. - What are your financial goals for 2018? To effectively reach your goals, consider joining us for the upcoming Financial Peace University Course. South Euclid United Church of Christ will provide the Financial Peace Course on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. beginning January 17 through March 14. The L.I.D. (Living Into Destiny) - Sunday, January 21 - 11 a.m. - The LID is a Youth Worship Experience designed just for youth ages 6 -18. The service will be presented with Creative Arts, Skits, Music, Videos, Crafts and more as the young people learn more about God, Jesus Christ and Self at a level of their understanding. We will meet in the Chapel at 11 a.m. The Young People will then break into Small Group Classes per age where they will learn that the Word of God can be applied to their lives. Young Adult Ministry Monthly Gatherings - 3rd Monday of Each Month Beginning in January - The Youth and Young Adult Ministry is incorporating Monthly Gatherings into the 2018 schedule using the SEUCC 4-G Mission concept of Gather ~ Grow ~ Give ~ Go. The gatherings will include fellowship, brain storming, team building and components of Bible study and devotions. All Young Adults ages 19-40 are invited to attend and can sign up in the Information Center. Please Note that the church will be closed for MLK Holiday on January 15. Volunteers Needed: Wiggling Worshippers, Youth & Young Adult Ministries - If you have a gift, passion, and love for Infants through Pre-Kindergarteners, Youth ages 6 to 18 and/or Young Adults, please consider volunteering. These ministries are vitally important to our overall Christian Education Ministry because it provides nurture, care and spiritual reinforcement from our infants to our young adults. Blended Worship Services - 11 a.m. - Every Sunday Through January 28 - Please join us as we continue to have one Blended Worship Experience at 11 a.m. each Sunday. We will return to our regular 9:55 a.m. (Vine) and 12 noon (Well) worship experiences on Sunday, February 4.
