Intergenerational Worship
Worship at South Euclid United Church of Christ is virtual, yet vibrant. Online, but engaging.
We have found ways to bring a worship experience into your living rooms and bedrooms, onto your phones, tablets, and computers, and in ways to keep you feeling like you've just left church when you stand-up from your couch.
Worship at SEUCC invites all traditions to the table. We are a church that welcomes all and believes that all people, regardless of race, age, gender, sexual orientation, (dis)ability, or even faith tradition, are children of God. You can come as you are, even when we find ourselves back in the Sanctuary. We are a five-generation church and offer a service that blends tradition with innovation.
Worship is typically led by our senior pastor and teacher, the Rev. Courtney Clayton Jenkins, and lasts 60 - 90 minutes. We begin worship in a posture of prayer and then participate in giving and receive announcements, prayer, and then song before the sermon. Rev. Jenkins offers worship sermon series that last between four and six weeks, offering us to follow along in a series each Sunday. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month to all that believe in Jesus Christ. We encourage Communion at home and invite all to participate in what we call, "church UNusual."
